To support Detroit Artist and the creative community by raising funds for direct emergency relief through virtual prompts for arts-based practices and joy-affirming activities.

This fund is for US-based BIPOC artists and administrators. This is a ONE-TIME micro grant of $200.

Sweet Relief provides immediate assistance and has created this DONOR-DIRECTED FUND with a limited amount of funds available to be used specifically for musicians and music industry workers affected by the Coronavirus. Funds raised will go towards medical expenses, lodging, clothing, food and other vital living expenses to those impacted due to sickness or loss of work. 

To support artists during the COVID-19 crisis, a coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States.

Joe Bonamassa’s Non-Profit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation (KTBA) is providing financial support to qualifying touring musicians who are suffering financial hardship and whose careers have been put on hold as a result of COVID-19 effect on the music industry. Fueling Musicians is an emergency relief program designed to support musicians by providing immediate cash payments for essential living expenses of $1,000, as well as pre-paid gas cards of $500 to help them stay afloat and get back on the road again when it is safe.

Culture Source is joins the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan in launching the COVID-19 Arts and Creative Community Assistance Fund. The fund is a pool of resources, held at the community foundation and managed by CultureSource that aims to support our seven-county region’s arts and culture organizations in navigating crisis spurred by the spread of COVID-19.

The Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief project has been created to amplify the efforts of organizations that focus on helping those most in need. Spotify is making a donation to organizations and will match donations made via this page dollar for dollar up to a collective total of $10 million.

the Recording Academy announced that it had partnered with MusiCares for a COVID-19 relief fund, with each contributing $1 million to the fund. The Recording Academy’s site features landing pages of regional resources for the Westthe South, and the East. The organization also posted a rundown of how Congress can help those involved in music, lobbying for increased protections for artists.

A resource to help music professionals access information and applications to receive benefits made available by the CARES Act (Phase III of the Coronavirus Stimulus bill signed into law March 27, 2020). Incuding what the law means, how to receive unemployment, how to receive small business benefits, where to find relief and grants.

Sony Corporation has launched a $100 million fund to support those impacted by COVID-19, including support for members of the creative community impacted by the virus.

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in over 30 countries where we operate. Click the link to sign up for more info.

Best-selling author Mitch Albom, Huntington Bank, Walker-Miller Energy Services and Metro Solutions have partnered with the Office of Arts, Culture and Entrepreneurship to host the COVID-19 Artist Crisis Relief Fund to help local arts & cultural workers.The A.C.E. Fund will provide unrestricted cash grants to help artists who have lost earnings, need reimbursement for travel, and require funds for medical and other living expenses.
